Joseph A. Catharine School Mosaic Mural Program
The Joseph A. Catherine School, located in Philadelphia, PA is an outreach program arranged by the Main Line Art Center in Haverford, PA. The fifth grade students completed 10 weekly sessions of tile-making and decoration for Discover, Create and Connect garden mural. Teachers and volunteers completed the installation of the first part of the mural. The completed mural, a project that will span three years, will involve more than 90 students and 135 hours of art education.
